A Taste of New Orleans is just that... and a taste of home for the owner, Monica Tucker. Now serving Traditional Beignets for breakfast and New Orleans Roast Beef Po-boys for lunch - real french bread, gravy and all that makes it dressed. Traditional Muffalettas and the Muffaletta Po-boy - as close to Central's as we can get it. We are also serving daily specials - check out the sections below to see what's cookin'. Enjoy an authentic New Orleans snoball, complete with toppings like condensed milk or evaporated milk. For an additional treat, try a stuffed sno-ball - my two favorite desserts in one! You’ll definitely want to come in to find out what it’s stuffed with, it is delicious!

IT'S NOT A SNOW CONE!!!

I know this area is familiar with the snow cones that are served at fairs and festivals. Crunchy ice covered with Kool-aid like flavor. THIS IS NOT WHAT WE SERVE.

A Snoball is a New Orleans tradition that some of us are willing to drive the three hours home just to get a real one. - Now we don't have to make that trip!!!!

A snoball is shaved ice that is so light it will melt in your mouth and it is covered with delicious syrups that come in any flavor you can imagine. Chocolate is a New Orleans favorite and is especially delicious when you add condensed milk. There are fruit flavors like strawberry, banana, grape. There are dessert flavors like wedding cake, cheesecake, and strawberry shortcake. And there are fun flavors like bubble gum, cotton candy, and fireball.

Every year we are excited to bring you the famous Randazzo's King Cakes from New Orleans. Many people ask if they are "really that good". This is my explanation, "They only make king cakes, when it's the only thing you do, you are going to be THE BEST at it." And TRUST ME, they are definitely the best.
We begin selling these wonderful cakes during the Christmas season. Randazzo's sells a Papa Noel cake for the holidays that is to die for! They also decorate traditional king cakes in holiday colors and shapes - too cute for parties.
So start checking on our ordering schedule in the beginning of December. We start there and go straight through to Mardi Gras.
