Welcome to Bayside Beads

Not your ordinary bead store! Bayside Beads specializes in beads for the discriminating beader, with an eye on quality and price. Many customers have told us that our quality is much better than what they find in most bead stores and prices are better than internet wholesale prices. We carry freshwater pearl, natural stone, glass, Venetian, Swarovski crystal, vintage, recycled glass, dichroic glass and Bali beads. Our findings are sterling silver, vermeil and 14/20 gold filled. We have a large variety of lampwork glass, Greek and Peruvian Pendants, Green Girl, and other high quality clasps and findings including sterling silver, copper, brass, gold filled wire and chain. Don't want to make your jewelry yourself? We'll help you design it and we'll make it for you for a small assembly charge.

Bayside Beads hosts children's beading parties for groups of 6 or more, ages 5 and up, as well as specialty parties and ladies night out parties for adults. We offer classes (individual private and group) in Basic Bead techniques, Wire Wrapping, Cold Connections, Precious Metal Clay, Enameling and more for very affordable prices.

Bayside Beads carries tools and books for the beaders and Precious Metal Clay and tools for the PMC enthusiasts.

We offer a Basic Beader discount card, with a $12.00 discount after purchases equal $100.00. Students receive 10% discounts for tool purchases.

Busy Beader Card

New Items Arriving Daily!

We are back from our gem and mineral show and we have wonderful new items arriving daily! Copic Crosses from Ethiopia, Maori handcarved shell, jade and carnelian pendants. Pearls, pearls and more beautiful pearls, natural stone pendants, Opal, turquoise and coral jewelry, new tools and stringing supplies, sharks teeth, trilobites, orthocerous and much more than we can describle!

Precious Metal Clay Classes

Group Classes will continue 2007. A new schedule will be posted after the March art festival. Call for prices and times. Pre-registration required. Private classes available by appointment.

We've Moved!

Our new store combines Bayside Beads and Analece in one convenient location. We have an expanded rock shop, larger classroom and party space and complete studio. A kids zone has been added to keep the youngsters happy while the parents shop. Come check us out. We think you'll be amazed!

Rock Solid Education Fund

Look for our new family rock and gem program to begin in April 2007. We will be offering a passport program for kids to learn about rocks and minerals from around the world. A portion of the proceeds from this program will go to the Baldwin County Schools, both public and private. Look for more details coming soon!

Mystery Mineral Contest

Coming soon! As an added component to our Rock Solid Education Fund, we will have a contest for children to guess the properties of a large mineral specimen on display in our shop. We will provide ongoing clues in a variety of media, as well as thru the Rock Solid Education Fund. Proceeds from this contest will benefit Baldwin County Schools. Look for details in March!
