Allison's work varies greatly in subject and medium. Her oil paintings of traditional subjects are vivid and rich in color. She also loves to create realistic portraits in watercolor or pencil. Allison began her commissioned portraits back in middle school. She can create a unique piece of art of your favorite subject; children, pets, a home, or just about anything.

Biography
Allison grew up in Montgomery, AL and credits that for the discovery of her passion and talent in creating art. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Birmingham-Southern College in 2002. In 2004, She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Masters in Art Education.
Allison creates paintings and drawings of a variety of subjects, yet still-lifes and landscapes are prevalent in her works. Her style is quite distinctive, with vivid and smooth brushstrokes and a palette rich in color. Her art has been largely influenced by her travels. She studied at the University of Salamanca in Spain and has traveled throughout Europe, absorbing the wonderful cultures. She has also spent time exploring Latin America, experiencing their rich and colorful lifestyles. Her travels have inspired her art as she is always looking for new and memorable discoveries.
Allison is now living in Loxley, Alabama with her husband, Morgan. She spends much of her time doing commissioned work of portraits and preparing for an upcoming festival or show.
