Wilkins, Bankester, Biles & Wynne, P.A. is a well-known and respected law firm with an offices in Fairhope and Bay Minette. The Fairhope office was established in 1988 when Marion E. “Tut” Wynne joined the firm. Wynne has been involved in the Fairhope community since 1976. He has been the City of Fairhope’s City Attorney and Prosecutor since 1988. Immediately preceding his current position, he was the Fairhope Municipal Judge for seven years. He has been a member of the Thomas Hospital Board of Directors for 13 years and currently serves as its Chairman. Wynne is one of the two representatives of Baldwin County on the Alabama State Bar Commission. He has been a member of the Rotary Club since 1977 and he is a past president of that service organization. Wynne is also a past president of the Baldwin County Bar Association. Ken Raines joined Wilkins, Bankester, Biles and Wynne, P.A. in 1994. Previously, he was an Assistant District Attorney under David Whetstone. Since joining the firm, he has served as the Municipal Judge for the Town of Silverhill and the City Attorney/ Prosecutor for the City of Robertsdale. Raines is looking forward to having more involvement with his very own Fairhope community. Residing in Fairhope since 1991, he has finally joined Wynne in the Fairhope office of the firm this year. Raines practiced in the Bay Minette office since 1994 and is now happy to be working in his hometown, enjoying the option to join his wife and two kids, Justin and Emily, at home for a quick lunch. Taylor “Red” Wilkins, Jr. and Claude E. Bankester (deceased, 1993) founded the firm in 1975 in Bay Minette, starting out as “Wilkins and Bankester, P.A.” Mr. Bankester returned to his home in Baldwin County after teaching law students for 19 years as a law professor at Cumberland Law School in Montgomery. After graduating from Cumberland Law School in 1979, Bayless E. Biles returned to his home in Bay Minette and joined the firm. Soon Bayless became a partner and his name was added to that of the firm. The firm became “Wilkins, Bankester & Biles, P.A.” Mr. Wilkins and Mr. Biles are well known, respected attorneys throughout the State of Alabama. Wilkins, Bankester, Biles and Wynne, P.A. looks forward to many more years of serving the citizens of Fairhope and its surrounding areas.
